Young, Wild, and THREE

As you may know by now, I love a good party theme! This year Lacey & Mackenzie turned three and I already felt my control over these themes slipping – so I had to sneak in one (hopefully not last) pun! And they are also truly… Young, Wild, and THREE!

Decorations:

Our next-door neighbor found Card My Yard for their son’s birthday a few weeks prior to our shindig and the pure excitement I saw on these girls’ faces told me I just had to see if they were available for their party! Luckily, they were available and having this sign in our front yard when the birthday girls woke up was one of the highlights!

I have a serious love for Meri Meri, it’s the kind of shop that once you find it, it’s hard to go anywhere else! They have a whole Safari line, which fit right into my party theme. A few of their show-stopper can’t miss items from this line are:

Oriental Trading and Amazon are always so perfect for the good bags, especially. I (attempted to) stuff them with – but ordered a few items too late! Won’t let that happen again!

Food & Drink

We used the team of The Lunch Guru and The Cookie Guru and honestly, it’ll be hard to ever use another duo! I first reached out to Teresa (aka the Cookie Guru) and realized her partner did catering! I sent Teresa some of the Meri Meri items I has already purchased for the party and she did an AH-mazing job creating these masterpieces:

Then you bring in the Lunch Guru who takes the theme to the next level by turning every day ordinary food into cute additions to the party – that are also delicious!

For dessert, I went a little overboard (as per usual), and we had not only an amazing setup of cookies, but also mini cupcakes AND a birthday cake from Treat Confectionary. I sent her inspiration photos from my Pinterest board and she WENT with it.

Activities

Where do I begin? These two girls had the time of their life with all the extra fun we had for their birthday. We kicked it off with an amazingly talented Face Painter, Krys Kreations! She came in and set up and was ready to get the party started! Talented, good with the younger kids that we had over – and gave my girls some pretty cute face-paint! We also invited an absolutely amazing balloon artist, Cruzzing Balloons. I haven’t seen anything more impressive than his ACTUAL woody doll balloon creation!

The final fun of the day was probably THE most exciting part. It’s Foam Time, who recently expanded into San Diego came and ended the party in one, big, foamy FUN time. They come and set up in an area of your choosing on your property – bring everything they need as well as some tunes that you can hear above the foam machine. I promise you, I have never in my life seen my Lacey SO happy.

I love, love a good party – and I love thinking of what is next. What should we get on the books for 4?!
